Chapter History
The Nu Upsilon Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated was chartered May 7, 1977 on the campus of the University of California, San Diego. Nu Upsilon is a Core Chapter and encompasses the campuses of the University of California, San Diego and San Diego State University.
The Nu Upsilon Chapter actively illustrates the organization's motto of Sisterhood, Scholarship, and Service. The chapter is known for its acts of service in the community and its commitment to hard work. This can been seen by the execution of various programs within the organizations Five Point Programmatic Thrust. Nu Upsilon has and will continue to be recognized for continuing the legacy of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated as a service based organization committed to uplifting the community.
